UNC baseball effected by draft rules

UNC baseball signees Matt Harvey and Nate Striz didn't sign professional contracts by the deadline late Wednesday night, meaning that the star pitchers soon will be on their way to Chapel Hill for the first day of classes Aug. 21. Two other high-profile UNC signees, first-round pitchers Madison Bumgarner and Rick Porcello, decided to become millionaires rather than attend college. (Durham Herald-Sun)
