Position Moves Bolster Depth

Defensive changes were evident at Navy Fields during North Carolina’s first day in full pads on Monday. One sizeable change on the depth chart came in the form of 6-foot-4, 310-pound J.J. Patterson. The red-shirt freshman opened camp as a backup at offensive guard, but has since been moved to defensive tackle. (Inside Carolina)
