Plenty of junior cornerbacks enter a season expecting their first collegiate start. North Carolina’s Tim Scott and his 20 starts shatter that mold. Due to suspensions, Scott stepped on the field for the opening game of the 2011 season versus James Madison rather than red-shirting, as he originally anticipated. From there, Scott has remained a staple in the secondary despite staff turnover and scheme changes.
