Case Keenum pushing T.J. Yates for Texans’ No. 2 quarterback job
Posted Aug 11, 2013
The Houston Texans have a battle going on for the No. 2 job behind Matt Schaub. 2011 fifth-round pick T.J. Yates is the incumbent, but he's being pushed by Case Keenum, a 2012 undrafted free agent who spent last season on the Texans' practice squad. Yates was first off the bench in Friday night's 27-13 win over the Minnesota Vikings, completing 13-of-21 pass attempts for 151 yard and a touchdown.
