New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey is breaking out in 2013 and putting up Cy Young-type numbers in the shadow of the Big Apple. He was the starter of the All-Star Game in New York and having a career year – at the start of his career. But even with the new-found national attention, the Big League ace is not one to bury his North Carolina roots.
