South Carolina football coach Steve Spurrier is the master of the head game, not only with his opponents but with his own players. So it should be taken with a grain of salt when the Ol’ Ball Coach says publicly that his Heisman Trophy favorite – defensive end Jadeveon Clowney might not play in the Gamecocks’ season-opener against North Carolina because of a sore shoulder.
