Maryland transfer Pe'Shon Howard to play this year at USC

Maryland transfer Pe'Shon Howard has received a waiver from the NCAA and will be able to play this season for new USC coach Andy Enfield. The 6-foot-3 Howard is a California native who played the last three seasons for the Terps. Howard would have almost certainly been a reserve guard for Mark Turgeon this season. Now he becomes the frontrunner to start for a Trojans team that is expected to struggle. (ESPN.com)
