Chaz Frank's heroics keep Canadians' playoff hopes alive
Posted Aug 27, 2013
Chaz Frank helped keep the Vancouver Canadians' playoff hopes alive with his bat and then his glove Monday night. The centre-fielder singled home Dawel Lugo from third in the seventh inning to give the C's a 2-1 lead over the Spokane Indians at Nat Bailey Stadium. In the top of the eighth, he ran down a Joe Jackson fly ball in right centre and then threw Eduard Pinto out at first base to end the frame.
