Miscue Deja Vu

North Carolina needed a clean game void of busted plays to pull an upset over No. 7 South Carolina on Thursday night. What it got instead were flashbacks to last season as mistakes gifted the Gamecocks 21 points. North Carolina trailed 17-0 with 44 seconds remaining in the first quarter. Up to that point, South Carolina had run 22 plays for 203 yards, while UNC netted 27 yards on just nine plays.
