2015 PG P.J. Dozier to miss season after ACL surgery


Spring Valley shooting guard will miss the 2013-14 basketball season after having ACL surgery earlier this week. He and his family decided now would be the best time to have the surgery after the junior guard aggravated a long-standing injury in the early part of August. “He just reinjured it,” said Perry Dozier, his father and coach at Spring Valley. “He’s had a torn ACL since 2007 when he was 12 years old. We haven’t said anything about it and he’s been playing on it since then. (The State)
