Optimism abounds as kickoff approaches

In less than one week, the 2008 North Carolina football team makes it debut. For a club without a winning season since going 8-5 in 2001, and which is coming off a four-win season in Butch Davis' first year as head coach, the Tar Heels have generated an astounding sense of optimism. "We're going to live up to it," sophomore linebacker Quan Sturdivant said.
