Optimism abounds as kickoff approaches

In less than one week, the 2008 North Carolina football team makes it debut. For a club without a winning season since going 8-5 in 2001, and which is coming off a four-win season in Butch Davis' first year as head coach, the Tar Heels have generated an astounding sense of optimism.
