UNC's Defense Swings the Momentum

When Tre Boston leaped into the air and came down with an interception in the end zone on Middle Tennessee State’s opening possession, the momentum swung dramatically in North Carolina’s favor and never returned to the Blue Raiders. That momentum shift ignited the Tar Heel defense. The Blue Raiders’ final five drives of the first half yielded 31 yards on 17 plays.
