DT Shy Tuttle sidelined with shoulder injury

Shy Tuttle, a highly recruited defensive lineman at North Davidson, separated his left shoulder during last week’s 22-10 victory against Asheboro, Coach Mark Holcomb of North said. Tuttle, a junior, batted down a pass during the third quarter and immediately headed for the sideline, his left arm drooping. Tuttle, a 6-3, 295-pounder, is the most highly recruited player in the area with close to 20 scholarship offers, including many from ACC and SEC programs. It’s unlikely that he will play Friday night against Lexington. (Winston-Salem Journal)
