With job security and momentum from last season uniting, Brandan Wright has an opportunity to carve out a consistent role for himself as the first big man off the bench for the Dallas Mavericks. At 25, the versatile big man still has time to have his game develop and grow. The Mavs had Brandon Bass and Ian Mahinmi develop in their system only to see them depart. They decided Wright was too good to let go.
