Posted Aug 5, 2007
Two members of Butch Davis' first recruiting class at North Carolina will not play for the Tar Heels this season because of academics. Receiver Dwight Jones of Burlington and linebacker Albert Craddock failed to meet the NCAA's academic requirements. A team spokesman said Jones will attend Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., while Craddock is likely to attend junior college.
