Dean Smith receives TBJ lifetime achievement award for diversity efforts

Triangle Business Journal’s inaugural Leaders in Diversity Awards featured former UNC men’s basketball coach Dean Smith, who was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Although Smith wasn’t present, you could easily tell Smith had friends in the crowd - tall friends such as former UNC players Hubert Davis and Eric Montross. Davis accepted on Smith’s behalf.
