Posted Aug 4, 2007
Eddie Fogler, former head coach at Wichita State University, Vanderbilt University and the University of South Carolina, has been named to the NIT Selection Committee. Fogler led all three teams to the NCAA Tournament and the NIT, winning the NIT with Vanderbilt in 1989. Fogler, who was twice named the National Coach of the Year, replaces legendary North Carolina men's head coach Dean Smith, who served on the committee since its inception in 2005.
