Khris Francis, T.J. Thorpe have homegrown friendship

Khris Francis and T.J. Thorpe first met when Francis was in eighth grade and they had the same trainer. Since first working out together nearly five years ago, Francis and Thorpe have turned a competitive relationship marked by a high school rivalry into a bond of friendship solidified by the team each one now plays for — the North Carolina Tar Heels.
