T.J. Yates Taking Aim

Redshirt freshman T.J. Yates enters his second season at North Carolina as the leading candidate for the starting quarterback position, after a successful spring in which he impressed the new coaching staff with his abilities under center. Head coach Butch Davis indicated at his UNC Media Day press conference on Friday that he hoped to have a starting quarterback named no later than Aug. 11. (Inside Carolina)
