Playing Georgia Tech has never been a happy occasion for UNC except during the Dick Crum and Mack Brown years. UNC was 8-2 in the 1980s vs the Yellow Jackets, 5-4-1 in the 1990s including 5-1 in the final six years under Mack Brown.
