It would be easy to blame Saturday’s 28-20 loss to Georgia Tech on UNC’s defense. It would be easy, but not entirely accurate. Because while the defense did allow the Yellow Jackets to run up 300-plus yards rushing and convert 10 of 17 third- and fourth-down opportunities, its effort would still have been a winning one had the Tar Heels offense held up its end of the bargain.
