Kyle Datres to play baseball for North Carolina

Loyalsock (Pa.) junior pitcher tweeted Sunday night he'll continue his athletic and academic careers at UNC, playing baseball for the Tar Heels. "Today is the day I have been waiting for my entire life, I have committed to play baseball at the University of North Carolina!" Datres said on Twitter. Datres has been a three-year starter on the baseball, basketball and football teams at Loyalsock. He was the winning pitcher for the Lancers in June when Loyalsock won its second PIAA baseball championship. (Williamsport Sun-Gazette)
