Effort & Execution Top Priorities for UNC Defense

A combination of loafs and miscommunication has plagued North Carolina’s defense through the first six weeks of the season. Both are correctable, although one should never be an issue. While there’s been plenty of conversation this fall about the level of UNC’s defensive talent, that variable in the equation is out of the players’ control. Effort and execution, however, is primarily left to the individual.
