Harrison Barnes competing for starting spot
Posted Oct 11, 2013
Harrison Barnes has been pegged as Golden State’s sixth man. To his credit, Barnes said he’d be fine with that role. Barnes had an up-and-down rookie year, but he broke out in the playoffs by averaging 16.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. That’s the type of performance that is usually rewarded with a larger role, not a lesser one. Perhaps, we shouldn’t shut the book on him getting that increased role.
