Hurricanes counting on top-ranked pass defense against Tar Heels

The 10th-ranked Hurricanes are limiting opponents to 141.4 passing yards per game. They also lead the nation in pass efficiency defense and have allowed just two passing touchdowns, tied with Florida for fewest in the nation. Miami coach Al Golden expects those numbers to be challenged when the Hurricanes travel to Chapel Hill for a Thursday night showdown against North Carolina.
