Examining North Carolina's rushing numbers through five games

North Carolina’s rushing attack might be in crisis mode right now. The Tar Heels are averaging almost half of the yards on the ground they did last year and rank 114th of 123 NCAA Division I teams. UNC averaged almost 200 rushing yards per game last season. Right now, the Tar Heels are barely hanging on to triple digits. Let’s look at the rushing numbers through five games compared to 2012.
