Interior Competition at UNC Basketball Practice

Marcus Paige labeled Joel James as the frontrunner for the starting center spot roughly three weeks ago at UNC’s media day. After 11 days of practice, however, there appears to be a legitimate competition between James and freshman center Kennedy Meeks in the post. Paige was asked if his initial beliefs held true at the ACC’s Operation Basketball at the Ritz-Carlton in downtown Charlotte on Wednesday.
