Several current and former North Carolina recruiting targets made visits to various Midnight Madness events over the weekend.

Theo Pinson and his high school teammates participated in a wheelchair basketball game to raise funds for charity.
2014 UNC small forward commit Justin Jackson wrote a blog entry at Inside Carolina in which he discusses his decision to be home schooled.
Rashad Vaughn postponed his visit to Baylor scheduled for last weekend because he'd rather take his official visit during a basketball game. This is the same reason given for postponing his previously-scheduled visit to Chapel Hill.
The Daily Tar Heel provided an excellent breakdown of North Carolina's 2015 basketball recruits.
Former UNC recruiting target Ben Simmons (2015 power forward) committed to LSU on his first visit to campus, joining his high school teammate and fellow commit Jalyn Patterson. Simmons made the classy move of thanking UNC and other schools for recruiting him.
ESPN addressed the question of whether UNC really needs a shooting guard in its 2014 recruiting class.
