Missed opportunities. That seems to be the theme for the 2013 UNC football team, which had a huge upset of a highly ranked Miami team squarely in its sights on Zero Dark Thursday and blinked. A blocked field goal, a huge delay of game penalty, and an inability to stop the run on Miami’s game-winning scoring drive all helped cost the Tar Heels another opportunity at relevance in the 2013 season.
