UNC, N.C. State paying the price for success

North Carolina and N.C. State paid the price for football success over the winter by hiring new head coaches at nearly double the salaries of their predecessors. The time is nearing when we’ll find out if UNC’s Butch Davis and N.C. State’s Tom O’Brien are worth the $1 million-plus deals brokered on their behalf. The question will undoubtedly be one of the topics discussed over the next three days as the ACC conducts its annual Football Kickoff.
