Get to know UNC football commit Brandon Fritts


Most nights, has as little as 20 minutes of free time before he grabs a big piece of his favorite chocolate cake from Giant Eagle and then heads to bed. Between homework, playing for a 7-1, state-ranked football team, a girlfriend, a self-set bedtime of 10 to 10:30 and an early high school graduation looming, the Mentor tight end carries a full load. Fritts is wrapping up his senior year early, playing his final season this fall with football before skipping basketball to enroll early at North Carolina. (Cleveland Plain Dealer)
