Posted Oct 25, 2013
According to Inside Carolina, Roy Williams has extended a scholarship offer to 2016 point guard Seventh Woods. Woods, from Hammond School in Columbia, South Carolina, is rated as one of the top point guards in the 2016 recruiting class.
Famous for his elite athleticism, Woods becomes the third member of UNC's 2016 basketball recruiting class to receive an offer from North Carolina, joining power forward Harry Giles and small forward Jayson Tatum.
Woods has also received scholarship offers from NC State, South Carolina and East Carolina. He most recently visited UNC on March 3, and spent last weekend on Duke's campus for their Midnight Madness event.
