UNC ends its misery with 34-10 victory against Boston College

After more than a month of disappointment, frustration and, at times, heartbreak, North Carolina ended its near season-long misery with a 34-10 victory against Boston College here at Kenan Stadium on Saturday. The victory was the Tar Heels’ first since defeating Middle Tennessee State on Sept. 7. Since then, there had been four consecutive defeats for the Tar Heels. (Charlotte Observer)
