The start of the Davis era has many buzzing at UNC, an institution widely considered a professional basketball factory. Davis proved the hype was justified through a late push in recruiting - the 22-member class included two five-star prospects and was ranked No. 13 nationally by Rivals.com. The new coaching staff also held off a late charge from USC to keep QB Mike Paulus, a previous commitment, headed to North Carolina.
