Jeff Schoettmer was essentially a spectator a year ago when Gio Bernard bolted into folk hero status with a last-second 74-yard punt return to lift North Carolina over rival N.C. State. But Schoettmer will literally be in the middle of things today as the Tar Heels and Wolfpack meet in Raleigh. (Fayetteville Observer)
