For the first time since 2005, North Carolina defeated N.C. State at Carter-Finley Stadium on Saturday. The Tar Heels held the Wolfpack to just three second-half points to secure a 27-19 win. It was a complete team effort - Carolina played well in all three phases to get a victory - but the contributions from freshmen and sophomores jump off the page of the box score.
