Turner's Take: Monday Musings
Posted Nov 4, 2013
Perhaps quieter on special teams has been the steady excellence of punter Tommy Hibbard. Hibbard averaged 40.9 yards per punt on Saturday, and four of his eight punts were downed at or inside the N.C. State 11. “That is a huge weapon for us,” Larry Fedora said. There’s more to it than Hibbard however; the Tar Heel punt coverage team has done an excellent job getting downfield and getting to the ball.
