Man linked to UNC basketball player P.J. Hairston to take plea

The convicted felon who has been linked to UNC basketball star P.J. Hairston is expected to accept a plea deal today on drug and weapons charges. The attorney for Haydn "Fats" Thomas tells ABC11 that Thomas will appear in court this afternoon and will take a plea deal on three felony drug charges and one charge of possession of a firearm by a felon.
