P.J. Hairston Situation Update

A Carolina spokesman said Thursday that Leslie McDonald and P.J. Hairston will not play Friday in the season opener against Oakland as the school continues to wait on a final resolution from the NCAA. The update was part of Roy Williams' regular pregame media session at the Smith Center. According to senior associate athletic director for athletic communications Steve Kirschner, "It's an ongoing compliance issue." (GoHeels.com)
