Fedora, Doeren sound off against targeting rule

There seemed to be plenty of disagreement between North Carolina and N.C. State following the Tar Heels’ 27-19 victory last Saturday. That was obvious with the pushing and shoving that ensued at midfield after the last play. But UNC coach Larry Fedora and N.C. State coach Dave Doeren found a common enemy from the game: The NCAA’s targeting penalty, which can result in an ejection.
