Tar Heels Dominate Roster Selections For 2007 U.S. Women's World Cup Team

U.S. Women's National Team head coach Greg Ryan has named the first 18 players who will represent the United States on women's soccer's grandest stage. The roster selections are highlighted by five selections of alumnae of the Tar Heel women's soccer program -- forward/midfielder Kristine Lilly '92, defender Catherine Reddick '03, forward Lindsay Tarpley '05, forward Heather O'Reilly '06 and midfielder/defender Lori Chalupny '05.
