UNC Overwhelms Oakland
Posted Nov 9, 2013
UNC showed no ill effects of missing guards P.J. Hairston and Leslie McDonald. In fact, the Tar Heels looked, arguably, better in the first half of their season opener than they did at any point all last season. Behind a dominant opening half, which included a 17-2 run in a 4:22 span, the Tar Heels routed the Golden Grizzlies 84-61 for a much-needed, tension-relieving win.
