Sometimes it lasts a couple hours, a cooling-off period after a tough loss. Sometimes it lasts a month or so, as you try to get over a tough season-ending loss. And sometimes it lasts...oh, about seven seconds, which is how long it took James Michael McAdoo to bank in a shot while being fouled, giving Carolina its first points of the 2013-14 season.
