North Carolina routs Virginia 45-14
Posted Nov 9, 2013
Virginia fell behind early and showed faint life thereafter Saturday, losing 45-14 at North Carolina. The Cavaliers (2-8, 0-6 ACC) have lost seven consecutive games in a single season for the first time since 1981, a year that cost coach Dick Bestwick his job and led to George Welsh's hiring. North Carolina led 21-0 at intermission and marched 65 yards after receiving the second-half kickoff.
