Joel Berry Officially A Tar Heel


Orlando (Fla.) Lake Highland Prep point guard signed his letter-of-intent with the University of North Carolina Wednesday morning. The 6-0, 188-pound five-star recruit committed to the Tar Heels back on January 21. He chose North Carolina over offers from Florida, Florida State, Maryland, Miami, N.C. State, Ohio State, USF and others. Berry is ranked as the No. 18 overall player in the 2014 class, the No. 3 point guard in the nation and the No. 1 player in Florida. (Carolina Blue)
