Basketball recruiting: UNC, Duke in mix for nation’s best

Theo Pinson said he wants to bring another national championship to North Carolina. Grayson Allen has similar goals for Duke. Pinson and Allen are two of the higher profile recruits who signed letters of intent Wednesday. More could be on the way: Jahlil Okafor, the No. 1 recruit, and Tyus Jones, ranked No. 5, have said they are a package deal. They are Duke’s top targets and will announce their decision Friday. Rashad Vaughn, the No. 7 prospect, is considering UNC but has said he will sign next spring.
