USA U19 World Championship Team Cruises Past Puerto Rico, 117-79


Another balanced scoring attack and a 31-13 second quarter offensive explosion propelled the USA Men's U19 World Championship Team to a 117-79 victory over Puerto Rico in 2007 Global Games play Friday evening in Dallas, Texas. Kansas State incoming frosh Michael Beasley led the U.S. with 16 points and 10 boards. North Carlina sophomore tallied six points, five rebounds and two assists in 17 minutes of action in the victory. (Tar Heel Blue)
