UNC basketball’s second weekend of play dampened the high spirits that followed its dominant opening performance against Oakland. The Heels’ ugly win against Holy Cross and close loss to Belmont produced two primary topics of conversation: the absence of P.J. Hairston and Leslie McDonald’s offense, and UNC’s struggles from the free throw line.
