Examining Non-ACC Football Slates: UNC

The inaugural season of the Butch Davis era faces several challenges that likely will keep North Carolina from a winning season. On paper, the nonconference schedule offers Davis and Carolina an interesting quartet of winnable games. Three are also losable, including a trip to East Carolina, a resurgent program trying to regain its relevance across the state and region.
