Early NFL announcement allows Ebron to have his Senior Day moment

Eric Ebron began thinking seriously about entering the 2014 NFL draft after his record-setting, nationally televised performance against Miami on Oct. 17. Once he actually made the decision – or as he described it, when “the light bulb just went off a couple of weeks ago” – he saw no reason to wait to let the world know. The All-ACC tight end said Monday that he plans to leave school and turn pro after this season.
